(Chicago, IL) -- The American Medical Association is arguing that a federal judge should block North Dakota's state code regarding doctors' discussions of abortions. The A-M-A said the rules compel physicians to use misleading and unscientific language with their patients. The suit focuses on doctors' objections to telling women that abortions terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique and living human being. They also object to being required to say that medication-abortions can be reversed.
