Driver Arrested following High-Speed Chase In Becker County

Detroit Lakes, MN (KFGO) - An Alexandria, Minnesota man was arrested after leading authorities in Becker County on a high-speed chase Saturday afternoon.
The Becker County Sheriff's Office says just after 1:45 p.m., they received a complaint of an erratic driver swerving all over State Highway 34.
A deputy located the vehicle traveling west on Hwy 34 near Detroit Lakes. The vehicle initially slowed and pulled into a private drive but then took off again hitting speeds of 90 mph.
The vehicle managed to avoid tire deflation devices but collided with a vehicle traveling north on U.S. Highway 59. After the collision, a deputy used a PIT maneuver to finally stop the vehicle.
The vehicle's driver, 33-year-old Christopher Elliot, was treated for minor injuries at the hospital in Detroit Lakes before being taken to the county jail on an outstanding U.S. Marshal warrant for drugs. Fleeing and other charges in Becker County are pending.
No one else was injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
