OSAGE, MN--Fire crews called Wednesday to early morning fire at Toad Lake Taxidermy. The Wolf Lake Fire Department was dispatched the report of a shop fire on Bay View Road in rural Osage around 4:40am. According to Wolf Lake Fire Chief Brock Anderson, crews upon arrival found two buildings fully engulfed. Chief Anderson said Wolf Lake made an initial attack and in about an hour had the fire under control. Anderson says overhaul operations took place over the course of the next 3.5 hours. Wolf Lake Fire was assisted on-scene by fire departments from Frazee Carsonville and Detroit Lakes, Wolf Lake Rescue, North Memorial EMS. No one was injured. The Fire is currently under investigation by the MN State Fire Marshal.
