Fargo Police Apprehend Early Morning Bicycle Robber

Wednesday morning around 3:22am, Fargo Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 1700 block of 3rd avenue. The victim says he was riding his bicycle when another bicyclist confronted him, threatened him with a knife and demanded his belongings. The suspect took the victims bags and fled the area. Officers located the suspect nearby and chased him briefly on the bicycle, then on foot. Sgt Jerrod Wagner says the suspect was apprehended after being found hiding nearby and taken into custody without incident. Officers have identified him as 19-year-old Crispin Baker. He was arrested for Robbery and Refusal to Halt. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the victim.
