ST. PAUL, MN--A former Bemidji middle school assistant principal is sentenced to 25 years behind bars in federal prison. Tuesday in St. Paul a federal judge sentenced 35 year old Brandon Bjerknes for one count of coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual conduct and one count of production of child pornography. He was found guilty of posing as a teenager online, convincing more than 50 children to send him sexually explicit photos and text messages. Bjerkness will also be sentenced this week in state district court as he has pled guilty to four counts of engaging in electronic communication relating or describing sexual conduct with a child in Beltrami County District Court and he will be sentenced for those four felonies Thursday in Bemidji.
