Frazee Man Sentenced for Arson

DETROIT LAKES, MN--A Frazee man is sentenced in Becker County District Court to to 41 months at the State Prison for arson. Twenty-six year old Michael Strehlow was handed the sentence Monday for the November fire that burned down the trailer house he and his parents lived in off Highway 10 west of Detroit Lakes. Court documents filed in the case state
a Becker County deputy responded to a report of a trailer home fire November 18th last year and arrived to find the trailer engulfed. The homeowner stated he was sleeping at the time when his wife started yelling that the trailer was on fire. Both escaped unharmed.
The wife told authorities she was in the kitchen when she saw flames coming from under the door of her son Michael’s bedroom. She saw her son run from the trailer. He was apparently angry about something that morning.
