DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) - A GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $2,500 (Thursday) for a homeless couple living under a bridge in Detroit Lakes.

Jeremy Scott, his dog Buddy and Lori Rogers have been living under a bridge in Detroit Lakes all summer. Carissa Markuson, an area business owner decided to help after hearing about Jeremy.

Jeremy is disabled and unable to work.

The GoFundMe page says Jeremy is losing his eyesight and has shattered cheekbones and eye sockets due to his homelessness.

The funding received on the GoFundMe page will be used to assist the duo in finding short term/long term housing until housing assistance can be established, meals, health care, dog food, minutes for cell phones, transportation and anything else they need.
