Home near Barnesville extensively damaged by fire

BARNESVILLE, MN (KFGO) - A home near Barnesville has been extensively damaged by fire.
Asst. Fire Chief Dave Grommesh says Barnesville and Sabin fire crews responded to the call shortly before 9:30 p.m. Tues. about 13 miles west of Barnesville. He says the homeowner was moving snow and working in his shop when his daughter discovered the fire.
There's extensive interior damage from flames and smoke. No one was hurt. Grommesh says firefighters were on the scene for more than four hours. The cold affected their air tanks and and breathing masks froze.
A deputy state fire marshal will look for the cause.
