BOYS SOCCER:

The Lakers were finally able to play East Grand Forks and this time, they made it count. The Lakers had the first 2 meetings postponed due to storms and last night the Lakers won a thriller. Lakers downed EGF 1-0 as Kobe Braukmann scored the only goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 26th minute. Lakers have won 3 of 4 and play again Saturday against Pelican Rapids.

VOLLEYBALL:

The Lakers went on the road last night to Staples/Motley and the Lakers took care f business. Lakers swept the Cardinals last night 3-0. Lakers won 25-21, 25-22, 25-16, as they won their 3rd straight game. Lakers back in action Tuesday at Thief River Falls.

CROSS COUNTRY:

The Lakers ran in Fergus Falls yesterday at the John Hermes Invitational. The Laker Boys finished 4th out of 9 teams and the girls finished 5th out of 6 teams. For the Laker boys, Peyton Nordby finished with the top time on the team with a 17:38. On the girls side Ava Geffre finished with the top time at 22:38.

TENNIS:

The Lakers wrapped up the home portion of the tennis season yesterday against Thief River Falls. The prowler dispatched the Lakers 6-1 as the Lakers only won 1 match in the meet. Shelby Busker was the lone Laker victory at two-singles defeating Brooklyn Broadwell. The Lakers travel to Moorhead Tuesday to take on the Spuds.

FOOTBALL:

The Lakers wrap up homecoming on Friday with the annual homecoming football game vs. East Grand Forks. The Lakers are the #5 team in class 4AAAA and are a perfect 4-0 this year. So far the Laker offense has been lights out by scoring at least 44 points in every game this season.
