Meeting on Highway 87 Construction Between Frazee and Menagha Slated for 2020-2022

FRAZEE, MN—MN DOT is hosting an open house tonight on projects to take place on Highway 87 between Frazee and Menagha between 2020 and 2022. The open house will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a short presentation at 5:30 pm at the Frazee Event Center.
MNDOT says the rural Highway 87 tree-clearing project is scheduled for the winter of 2020/2021 season. It will include removing all trees and vegetation that's 65 feet from both sides of the center of Highway 87 from Frazee to Menagha.
In the summer of 2021, MN DOT will resurface HWY 87 from North River Drive in Frazee to the east Becker County line.
The urban Highway 87 project is scheduled for the 2022 construction season. It includes roadway surfacing, ADA improvements. Also a shared-use path and city utility replacements from south of the Highway 10 interchange to North River Drive in Frazee.
Residents and business owners are urged to attended tonight's meeting. Representatives from the project team will be on hand to discuss details and answer questions.
