Minnesota Health Officials Urge Vaccinations for Measles

So far there are no confirmed cases of measles this year in Minnesota, but health officials say it's likely a matter of when not if the virus arrives here.
"If you're unsure if you've been vaccinated or you know you haven't been vaccinated with the MMR vaccine, go in and get that vaccine, especially if you're doing any sort of traveling," says Cynthia Kenyon with the State Health Department. "That goes for adults as well as kids."
This spring there have been a record number of measles cases throughout the U-S--with the confirmed number at more than 760--making it the largest outbreak in 25 years.
