MN girl taking driving test drives through exam office

(KNSI) - A license examiner was injured when a girl taking her road test crashed through the wall of the exam station.
It happened on 1st Avenue South in Buffalo, at the building housing the driver's license exam station.
Police say a 17-year-old girl from Monticello was in the process of taking her road test when she put the SUV in drive instead of reverse, and the vehicle lurched forward, going over the sidewalk and smashing through the wall of the building.
The girl was not injured, and no one in the building was struck by the vehicle or flying debris.
The 60-year-old license examiner suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the crash caused significant damage to the vehicle and building.
The police department says no charges are pending.
