Moorhead, DGF and WOWE Voters Say "Yes" to Bond Referendums

UNDATED-- Dozens of school districts across the state had bond referendums or operating levies up for vote Tuesday. Three area districts' elections turned out positive.
Voters in the Waubun Ogema White Earth District also passed the bond issue Tuesday, 245 "yes" to 194 "no". The $7.74 Million referendum will be used for safety, HVAC upgrades, classroom remodels/additions, parking lot improvements and bus/maintenance garage improvements.
Superintendent Lisa Weber says the results will become official once the School Board Canvasses results on Friday.
In the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton District, a $31-million bond issue was approved with 742 votes in favor and 632 against. The approval will allow for realignment of grades and school safety upgrades.
Voters in the Moorhead Area School District overwhelmingly pass a $110-million bond issue.
5,438 voters gave their okay while 1,754 voters said no to the question.
The money will pay for a rebuild of the high school in its current location and the purchase and remodeling of the former Sam's Club along I-94. it will become a career center.
