THIEF RIVER FALLS, MINN. (KFGO) - Authorities in northwest Minnesota have identified a mother and two children killed in a collision Wednesday.

The State Patrol says Cassandra Flatland and her sons Hudson and Cooper died after their car was struck by a pickup Wednesday on Highway 32 near Thief River Falls. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said all three victims were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. The pickup driver wasn't hurt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. A benefit fund for the Cassandra Flatland Family has been established at the Northern State Bank in Thief River Falls..
