New Perham High School construction continues to make big strides

PERHAM (KDLM) - The Perham High School construction continues to make big strides.
Jeff Flettre of ICS Consulting gave the Perham School board an update on the construction progress at a recent School Board meeting, he indicated that walls on both levels of the classroom portion of the building are now being sheetrocked, taped and some have even been painted.
Tile is starting to go in on bathroom floors and walls, doors and windows are being hung in their final locations and the last major slab of concrete, the floor in the great hall, is expected to be poured next week.
The new Perham High School will include a gymnasium with locker rooms, full service kitchen, commons spaces, classrooms, fine arts area, administration offices, wrestling & weights area, media center, an adjacent satellite building for the STEM trades and planned future additions of a theater & an academic addition.
