One dead in Crash near Bemidji

Bemidji, MN (KFGO) - One person is dead and two others are injured after in a crash south of Bemidji Wednesday morning.
Around 8:20 a.m., the state patrol says a car was northbound on State Highway 71 when the driver lost control. The car then crossed the center line and was struck broadside by a southbound car.
The northbound car's passenger, 26-year-old Eric Follensbee of Oakdale, died at the scene.
The northbound car's driver, 23-year-old Michelle Farlee of Park Rapids, and the southbound car's driver, 67-year-old Roger Proulx of Bemidji, were taken to the hospital in Bemidji with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened about 12 miles south of Bemidji near the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road 118. The patrol reports the road was wet at the time of the crash.
