PERHAM, Minn. (KDLM) – The 13th annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day took place Aug. 2 nationwide, but Perham Dairy Queen will celebrate a belated Miracle Treat Day, today (Aug. 10).
Located at 802 Third Ave. S.E., the location was unable to participate in Miracle Treat Day due to an accidental crash into the building that shut it down for days.
The Perham Dairy Queen proudly donates 100 percent of the proceeds from the day’s Blizzard® sales and Blizzard® coupon sales to Children’s Miracle Network benefiting Sanford Children’s. The location raised almost $5,000 in 2017 during Miracle Treat Day.
It has donated more than $15,000 to Sanford Children’s in the last three years. Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $130 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.
