MINNEAPOLIS - Two Minnesota children suffered salmonella illnesses from tainted pet food, the state Health Department reported Friday.
Investigation found that the children’s home contained ground turkey from the Minneapolis based company Raws for Paws and that the pet food was contaminated. Health officials urge pet owners to discard or return pet food that may be contaminated.
The company recalled all Turkey Pet Food cases with codes of 9900008 and 9900009, as well as Pet Food Combo Pack cases with codes 9900014 and 9900015.
