MINNEAPOLIS - A Minnesota company, Sipdark that makes whiskey-themed products has been served with a lawsuit accusing the company of copying Scottish glassmaker Glencairn's design on an oak whiskey glass. The federal suit seeks unspecified damages and asks a judge to order Sipdark to stop selling the wood glasses.
The suit alleges trademark infringement and says a promotional video by Sipdark shows that the Minnesota company intended to make an exact replica of the Glencairn glass.
