Six finalists selected for MN judicial vacancies

ST. PAUL (KFGO) - Six attorneys have been recommended for soon-to-be open judgeships in Minnesota's 7th District.
Jade Rosenfeldt of the Vogel Law Firm is among them along with Becker County Attorney Tammy Merkins, Asst. Becker County Attorney Kevin Miller, Asst. Douglas County Attorney Michelle Clark, Moorhead attorney Amber Gustafson and Douglas Clark, a lawyer with Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance.
Two judges in Moorhead, a judge in Fergus Falls and a judge in Wadena are retiring. Clay County Attorney Brian Melton was one of those applied.
Gov. Dayton will decide who will fill the vacancies.
