Snow, ice factor in deadly crash near Pillager, MN

Pillager, MN (KFGO) - Snow and ice covered roads were a factor in a deadly crash in Cass County, Minnesota Monday evening.
The state patrol says around 5:15 p.m., a car was westbound on Highway 210 when the driver lost control, crossed the center line and was stuck by an eastbound pickup.
The car's 73-year-old passenger, Sandra Leyde, was killed. The car's 82-year-old male driver and 39-year-old male passenger were taken to the Brainerd Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. All three are from Cushing.
The pickup's 40-year-old male driver from Pillager was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His two passengers, a 9-year-old and 12-year-old also from Pillager, were not hurt.
The patrol reports the road was snow and ice covered at the time of the crash.
