DETROIT LAKES, MN--Three men are in custody in the Becker County jail after a hold up early this (Tuesday) morning in Audubon. According to the Becker County Sheriff's Office, a clerk from Orton's Convenience Store in Audubon reported being robbed by two men with knives just before 1:15am. The clerk stated the men had left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items. The Audubon police chief was on the scene a short time later and several officers responded as it was reported the possible suspect vehicle was traveling south on Highway from Audubon. Officers located the vehicle just before 1:30am about five miles from the scene. Arrested were 22 year old John Greywind from Bismarck, ND; 23-year old Dylan Beckman from Lengby, MN; and 23-year-old Stephen Golden from Moorhead. Charges are pending as the three men are being held in the Becker County Jail in Detroit Lakes. Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander says the clerk was not injured in the robbery and the incident remains under investigation. Responding to the scene were the Becker County Sheriff's Department, Audubon Police Department, Detroit Lakes Police, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
