Three New Detroit Lakes Businesses open this Weekend

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) - Despite several high profile businesses announcing their closures this week, Detroit Lakes welcomes three new businesses opening this week as well.
The Washington Square Mall will open the doors to two new business Friday. Don Pablos, a Mexican restaurant based out of Fergus Falls will open in the former Dairy Queen site next to the movie theater at the mall. The restaurant owned and operated by Jose and Teresa Rodriguez plan to bring the same down-home Mexican menu to the Detroit Lakes restaurant.
Fargo boutique, Leela & Lavender will open a second location in the Washington Square mall in Detroit Lakes on Friday as well.
The store offers moderate to prestige clothing styles for all budgets and specializes in fit variety to embrace all customers. Laura Polanski, co-owner of the store says they chose to open their second location because they've always loved the Lakes Area and thought Detroit Lakes could use a new fun boutique.
The store opens Friday at 10am and hopes to give women unique, fun & customized shopping experiences while having each woman leave with a better version of herself.
Beautiful Junque, opens their new retail store on Friday at 918 Washington Ave. The store features vintage, new, handmade and repurposed products. Originally created in 2012, the mother-daughter duo behind the brand has spent the last 6 years selling their products and creations in many Lakes Area stores and festivals as well as online.
