Top Baby Names Released

(Undated) -- Emma and Liam are the most popular baby names in the U.S. for 2017. The Social Security Administration says this is the first time Liam has claimed the title, but the fourth straight year Emma. For the first time since World War Two, Michael has fallen out of the top ten, coming in at number 12. Emily also fell out of the top ten for the first time in nearly thirty years. There has been an increase in traditional female names, keeping with the trend of naming daughters after grandmothers, The rest of the list (2-10) on the girls list are: Olivia, Ava, Isabella, Sophia, Mia, Charlotte, Amelia, Evelyn and Abigail. The boys 2-10 are Liam, Noah, William, James, Logan, Benjamin, Mason, Elijah, Oliver, and Jacob.
