LAKE PARK (KDLM) - Highway 10 near Lake Park is receiving a new traffic signal system that will slow motorists today as it is being installed.
The Minnesota State Patrol expects vehicles traveling through Lake Park along Highway 10 to encounter 10 to 15 minute delays between noon and 2pm as the installation is taking place.
The new signal system is expected to be operational by the end of the week.
In addition to installing the signal system, crews will also complete ADA and pedestrian accessibility improvements. Upon completion, motorists and pedestrians will experience a safer intersection.
Crews from Central Specialties have been on site for approximately one month to complete the $1 million project.
