BATTLE LAKE, MN (KFGO) - A Twin Cities area middle school principal who has been under investigation for hacking into his school district's computer system has been arrested on an Otter Tail County lake.
Apple Valley Police and the county SWAT team arrested 50 year-old Christopher Endicott in a fish house on East Battle Lake. Police had information that Endicott might be armed with a scoped rifle. A gun was found in the portable fish house.
Endicott is facing stalking charges in Dakota County. He's accused of stalking a number of people, including an Apple Valley Police detective. He was traced to the lake through a tracking-device that had been placed on his car.
Endicott was placed on leave as principal of Century Middle School last month after an investigation of unauthorized computer access led police to his home. His wife, a counselor and teacher at another middle school, was also put on leave.
