(KNSI) - Better weather, on field success and cheap seats are making for long wait times to get into Target Field.

Starting Tuesday, June 11, in an effort to speed up entry, the Minnesota Twins are implementing a Hold Your Phone policy, meaning fans will no longer need to empty their pockets of personal items such as cell phones, wallets and keys when walking through the gates. Clutch purses smaller than 9 inches by 5 inches also will not need to be emptied. Bags smaller than 9X5 also qualify for the no-bag express entry lane.

There are some restrictions that will be put into place soon, however.

Starting July 5th, only single compartment bags will be allowed into Target Field. Backpacks, duffel bags and laptop bags will not be allowed.

Fans though can still bring in purses, clutches, tote bags, drawstring bags, clear bags, diaper bags, medical accessories and soft sided coolers as long as they are smaller than 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches.

Those bags will be subject to search.
