(Lehi, UT) -- Ancestry.com is giving the public access to its large database of military records in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day. The genealogy company will make those records available beginning tomorrow and continuing through June 9th. A spokesperson says the company hopes people will take the time to look through the records to see if they have family ties to someone who may have served in World War Two or was a part of the D-Day operation. The record trove will be available online at ancestry.com/DDay75.
