Wind Advisory in Effect until 6pm, Gusts of 50 MPH expected

It's back to reality for West Central Minnesota. After a 40 degree day on Monday, temperatures plummeted and the wind is picking up.
The National Weather Service (NWX) has issued a Wind Advisory is in effect until 6 pm on Tuesday.
Strong northwest winds will be sustained around 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Basically, anywhere south/southwest of a line from Grand Forks to St. Cloud to Minneapolis and Rochester is in the advisory.
Wind chills will likely be below zero when you wake up on Wednesday morning, and as low as -20 around Detroit Lakes and parts of west-central Minnesota.
With the Wind Advisory comes the possibility of downed trees, limbs and power lines which could result in power outages. Patchy blowing snow will also be possibly, reducing visibility while driving.
