The Lakers boys’ golf team took second place at the Class AA State Golf Tournament at Ridges of Sand Creek in Jordan, MN. The Lakers shot a two-day score of 640 which was second best to Holy Family Catholic who were able to win their second straight championship with a low-score of 620.

The Lakers were led by Junior Hunter Burnside both days of the tournament. Burnside shot a 73 day one and an 80 on day two, for a two-day total of 153. Burnside was able to place for the first time ever at the State Tournament a place where he has competed at for the last 3 years. Burnside was able to take 8th place. The medalist honors went Senior Cecil Belisle of Red Wing who shot -1 for the tournament. Other two-day Laker scores Lukas Justesen 162, Jack Schramel 162, Drew Schwan 162, Daniel Rozsa 164, and Jake Green 173.
