Laker Boys Golf Team Competes Against Top Competition at Jordan

The Laker boys’ golf team traveled to Jordan to take part in an invite held at Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course. Detroit Lakes took 4th place in the meet. The meet was for teams who finished in the top 9 of the Class AA and AAA State Tournaments last year.
The Lakers finished in 4th place in the meet finishing with a score of 319. Maple Grove took first with a 300, Waconia was second with a 302, and Lakeville North was 3rd with a 307.
Detroit Lakes was once again led by Sophomore Lukas Justesen who shot a 74. Other Laker scores were Jake Green 79, Jack Schramel 83, Daniel Rozsa 83, Jackson Carlbloom 87, and Logan Burhans 91.
Next up, half of the team will travel to Grand Rapids, while the other half will be in Walker.
