The gymnastics team will send their second team up to Bemidji for a meet today. The meet is scheduled for 6 pm. The gymnastics team is also gearing up for the True Team Section meet that they will be hosting, on Saturday, at the Ralph Anderson Gymnasium. That meet will get underway at noon.
After notching a win against Bemidji, on Tuesday, the Laker girls’ hockey team is back on the ice tonight hosting Moorhead. The Lakers were able to move their record to 5-15 with the win against the Lumberjacks. Tonight, they host the Spuds who have just 1 win on the season. Pregame coverage of girls’ hockey tonight begins at 6:45 pm, on KDLM.
The Laker girls’ basketball team will look to get back on track tonight, as they will host Pequot Lakes on their home floor. The Lakers fell earlier this week to Thief River Falls 48-40. Detroit Lakes is now 7-10 on the season. The Patriots enter tonight’s game with a record of 6-8 on the year, having lost their last 2 games. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm.
The Lakers boys’ basketball team will travel to Crosby-Ironton for a Mid-State Conference game. The Lakers have won 3 of their last 4 games. Tonight’s game is the start of a 3 game road trip that includes Bemidji, on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers are 7-6 on the year. Crosby-Ironton enters tonight’s game at 12-2.
The Laker boys’ hockey team will look for their second straight win as they travel to Long Prairie tonight. The Lakers picked up a 6-1 win on Tuesday versus Jamestown and moved their record to 12-4-1 on the season. Prairie Center is 10-7 on the season. Face-off tonight is at 7:15 pm.
