In the Class A Quarterfinals, #3 Menahga heads to the state semifinals for the first time in program history, advancing with a 65-54 quarterfinal win over BOLD (22-6) on Thursday evening at Maturi Pavilion on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The Braves will matchup in the semifinals with #2 Goodhue on Friday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Williams Arena.
Heritage Christian Academy of Maple Grove defeated Ada-Borup 67-59 in the second Class A quarterfinal. Ada-Borup will go into the consolation bracket and face the Red Lake Warriors who lost to Minneota 66-46.

In the Class AA Quarterfinals, the Roseau Rams beat Redwood Valley 75-74 at Williams Arena. Sophomore guard Katie Borowicz scored 37 points and senior guard Kacie Borowicz had 33 for the No. 1 seeded Rams, who rallied from an 11-point second half deficit to improve to 29-2. Roseau will play Caledonia at Williams arena, at 6:00 p.m. Redwood Valley had a shot at the buzzer but it bounced off the front of the rim.

The Fergus Falls Otters saw their season come to an end with a loss to the Hibbing Bluejackets by a score of 63-58 in the consolation semifinals of the Class 3A State Tournament at Gangelhoff Center on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul.
The Otters led 29-22 at halftime and held a 37-27 lead three minutes into the second half. It was at that point where Hibbing rattled off thirteen consecutive points to take their first lead of the day at 40-37. The Bluejackets surrendered the lead once more in the second half but ended up finishing the game off down the stretch. Freshmen Ellie Colbeck finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists, to lead the Otters.
The Otters end the season with a 23-6 record. Hibbing improves to 28-3 and will play for the Class 3A consolation title at 4:00pm Friday at Concordia University.
