315 New Minnesota COVID Cases Reported Monday, June 29

Numbers released Monday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 315 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 35,861 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 592,955 tests conducted. 3,603 are health care workers.
Of the 35,861 positive cases, 31,225 patients no longer need to be isolated.
4,031 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 278 of them are still hospitalized. 140 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,435 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 20 cases, Otter Tail has 91 cases. Becker County has 54 cases. Douglas County has 58 cases. Grant County has 6 cases and Clay has 560 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 2,233 cases, Richland County has 41 cases.
There are 3,539 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
