(Atlanta, GA) -- The Centers for Disease Control is investigating after dozens of people were hospitalized with lung illnesses linked to vaping. Nearly 100 possible cases of severe lung illness have been reported in 14 states, including Minnesota and including 30 cases alone in Wisconsin since June. The CDC says there's no conclusive evidence that an infectious disease is causing the illnesses. The health agency says it appears all the cases are similar and possibly linked to e-cigarette use, but more information is needed before a conclusion can be reached. The patients have mostly been adolescents or young adults who have come down with severe breathing issues, requiring hospitalization and in some cases assistance with breathing.
