Eagles Sign Wentz to $128M Extension

PHILADELPHIA (KDLM) - The Philadelphia Eagles have signed former NDSU quarterback Carson Wentz to a four-year extension through the 2024 season, the team announced Thursday.
The extension is for $128 million and includes $107.9 million guaranteed, including $66 million due at signing. The extension can escalate to a max of $144 million. Wentz's total deal is now six years for $154 million and can grow to a max of $170 million.
Wentz played college football at North Dakota State University (NDSU) and was selected by the Eagles with the second overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, the highest selection ever for an FCS player.
During his time at NDSU, the team won five NCAA FCS national championships.
