Edgeley Farmer Plows Message For Departing Vice President Pence

(Edgeley, ND) -- Forget twitter, this North Dakota farmer knows how to get attention. Responding to by Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Fargo on Friday, Edgeley resident Gene Hanson went to work and carved out the following message in one of his fields: "Congress help our farmers. Pass USMCA." The message refers to the United States-Mexico-Canada-Agreement, which would update free trade among the three countries, and presumably benefit local farmer. Hanson says it took him about two and a half hours to create the message, which measures roughly 75 by 120 feet. No word on whether the Vice President got the message on his way back to Washington, D.C.
