DETROIT LAKES, MN--Minnesota highway and safety officials urge motorists to take it slow out there. MN DOT District 4 office in the Detroit Lakes Area says roads are wet and icy throughout the region. Plows are out and road conditions should improve as the day goes on but conditions can change quickly, so continue to drive with caution.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported earlier this morning Highway 108 between Pelican Rapids & Lake Lida was blocked. A tweet just after 6:20 this morning from Sgt Jesse Grabow said extremely ice conditions caused several crashes and stuck vehicles. Fortunately no injuries were reported.
