Local Government Buildings Begin Limited Hours or Close to Public Today

Many local government buildings in the Detroit Lakes and surrounding area are implementing either limited hours, access or closure beginning today, March 23rd.
Becker County Courthouse and DMV:
DETROIT LAKES, MN –Becker County will begin limiting access to all public buildings beginning today, March 23rd, in response to social distancing directives from the President, Governor, and County Board due to COVID-19. Becker County Administrator Mike Brethhorst said, consequently, the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) will be implementing new procedures for the well-being and limiting exposure to employees and the general public.

White Earth :
WHITE EARTH, MINN. – The White Earth Reservation Business Committee has agreed to limit all non-essential government activity for two weeks. Starting today, March 23rd,only essential staff will report to their work sites. All tribal government facilities and buildings will be closed to the public during this time.
Hubbard County Offices
PARK RAPIDS, MN--Beginning 8:00 a.m. today, March 23, Hubbard County offices will be closed to the public until further notice, in response to the expanding COVID-19 pandemic, to help limit the spread of the disease.
