DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) - The Minnesota Department of Health will be conducting door-to-door COVID-19 surveys throughout Becker County this week.
The Department of Health plans to be in Detroit Lakes this Thursday thru Saturday (Sept. 24-26) and in Osage and Ponsford next week.
If a Department of Health public health worker knocks on your door, the survey is optional and includes a free COVID-19 test and a test that looks for COVID-19 antibodies.
Public health workers will be wearing colored vests, gloves, masks, and other protective gear.
The Department of Health says information learned from the survey will help public health workers, and others who are part of the COVID-19 response, make decisions that best meet the needs of each community affected by COVID-19.
