New Police Facility Details and Timeline Discussed Monday at Special Detroit Lakes City Council Meeting

DETROIT LAKES, MN--The new police facility in Detroit Lakes is the subject of a special meeting of the Detroit Lakes City Council Monday. Detroit Lakes Mayor Matt Brenk says the council will meet with the architect, BKV, Monday and discuss more of the details and project timelines. The Mayor says they are still on track to begin building in the spring of 2020. The City is financing the seven-million dollar facility with a sales tax that went into effect on October 1st. Monday's special city council meeting begins at 4:00 pm Monday at City Hall.
