Pilot Dies in Aircraft Crash at Hawley Airport

UPDATE: 1:10pm: Fargo Forum reporting that the Clay County Sheriff's Office has confirmed one person is dead after a small aircraft crashed.
UPDATE 1:05pm: Red River Dispatch has confirmed with area media that a helicopter has gone down at the Hawley Municipal Airport. They also confirm there are people injured, but could not say how many or how severe the injuries are.
Hawley, Minn. (KDLM) - An apparent plane crash resulting in a plane engulfed in flames has been reported at the Hawley Airport.
Initial reports indicate the crash occured around 12:30pm, Thursday.
According to reports the Clay County Sheriff and FAA have been notified.
It's unknown at this time how many people were inside the plane.
