Saturday COVID-19 Cases

UNDATED—The Minnesota Department of Health reported a much lower daily COVID death toll of nine Saturday across the state. There were 394 newly confirmed cases Saturday. The state’s total positive case count is now over 30-Thousand and a total of 1,283 people have died in Minnesota since March due to the novel coronavirus. There are 390 people hospitalized due to COVID-19 and 191 of those are in I-C-U’s.
New Local Cases Saturday:
Becker County reported two newly confirmed cases and now is at a total of 50 confirmed cases; Clay County reported six new cases pushing its total confirmed case count to 507 and a total of 36 deaths; Otter Tail County reported three new confirmed cases and is now at 83 total confirmed cases and one death; Todd County two new cases and has a total of 372 confirmed cases and two deaths; Wilkin County two new cases with a total of 14 confirmed cases and three deaths.
North Dakota Cases
North Dakota Public Health reports no new deaths Saturday and 42 newly confirmed COVID cases. The state has a total of 74 COVID-related deaths and 3058 total confirmed cases. Cass County is at a total of 2037 confirmed cases and a total of 62 deaths associated with the novel coronavirus.
