DETROIT LAKES, MN-- A Milaca man is recovering from hypothermia after the snowmobile he was driving broke through the ice on a Becker County lake Saturday morning. The Becker County Sheriff's Office says just after 11:30 a.m., 36-year-old Jason Morris was traveling on Rice Lake Saturday morning when he skidded into open water that flows between Rock and Rice Lake. Other snowmobilers saw him and used a tow strap to pull him out of the water. He was taken to Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of hypothermia.
