(Bentonville, AR) -- Taco seasoning sold at Walmart is being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination. Williams Foods LLC initiated the voluntary recall. The impacted packets are the one-ounce Great Value brand mild seasoning mix and the one-point-two-five-ounce HEB brand reduced sodium mix. The items have "Best By" dates of July 2021 and contain cumin spice involved in the recall from the supplier. The company says the recall is precautionary and that so far, there have been no reported cases of salmonella in connection with the products. People who have purchased the product are urged to discard it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
